“Rich Greene has been a child advocate and educator for over twenty years.”

Prior to his educational career, Rich was a professional singer and guitarist and currently a founding member of the staff of “Camp ROC Star,” an annual week-long rock-and-roll camp for 10-17 year-olds started five years ago. He is a founding (and current) member of the Rochester, NY band “Reporter.” In 1987 Rich appeared on the nationally syndicated television show Star Search.

Rich brings his love of working with kids to the We R 3C, Inc. organization as a five-time presenter in the areas of building Professional Learning Communities and teaching Character Education to young people through music at the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development’s annual national conference.

Rich is also a member of the Board of Trustees for Generation Two, an organization that creates intergenerational relationships using child-directed play between senior citizen volunteers and primary grade students.

As a member of the We R 3C, Inc. Advisory Board, Rich is excited to see the program continue to develop and gain support across the country. He believes that WeR3C’s approach to teaching character is rooted in common sense and takes a pragmatic yet insightful approach to creating caring communities in schools.
